Bugged Zombies plentiful

So I have noticed that when you take up a melee weapon like crowbar / hatchet the zombies are buggy as hell, you can stand there and swing and swing and swing and just not kill it. Yet other times you can swing a couple times and kill it.

I can't find any posts on this though.

Anyone else getting this?

Whenever I try to kill a zed with a melee weapon, It constantly goes through them and doesn't do any damage.

I've hit myself in the face while aiming at a zombie with a hatchet before and 1 hit ko'd myself.

Its so annoying, find a quite weapon so you don't attract millions of zombies and its useless

I find that putting a little more than an arms length of distance between you and your target is the sweet spot for hatchets, and can often one hit kill zombies.

Hatchet = Win for the game, then its on to find food / drinks

Hitting their shins with the hatchet breaks their legs and seems to insta-kill them. (:
