Take a look at some guides on youtube for instance Sacriel42 did a guide

Just take a look around youtube, also just try to get a feel of the game through boot camp in Single player. Mess around with the game in editor.

Try to find a map in the game as well.

Search around supermarkets, deer stands, barracks (when you're better equipment) or you can head straight to Cherno because you have nothing to lose.

But tbh fumbling around and failing a lot at the start of my DayZ experience made me absolutely adore the game, have fun with the game. I'm sure you'll enjoy it :D
