Shouldn't you turn into a zombie?I'd like to see some sort of system implemented where the DB keeps track of where you (or another player) died, and a special zombie of a player character spawns there after some time, with some pretty sweet loot.Also, military zombies, y u no drop things like sidearms/tools/nvg's? In regards to loot spawning. It really needs to be completely random. This would reduce farming and server hopping farmers. I do like the idea of the possibility of players corpses rising from the dead after they are killed. That did fuck with servers -- all the dead bodies along the coast from people respawning continually for a "good spawn" were seriously screwing with servers. The current version has fixed this issue by de-spawning dead bodies -- couldn't/shouldn't it also de-spawn the dead-but-reanimated-body in exactly the same way?This would so be abused. [/quote']I assumed the "sweet loot" would be whatever you had when you died? In which case, there's no exploit.Actually, imagine if instead of the "YOU ARE DEAD" screen, you got to watch out of the eyes of your now-AI-controlled zombie corpse... If you got eaten by zombies when playing in a group, you might have to watch yourself eat one of your friends!!! Or watch your friend put one in your head to save themself (and secure your gear).
