Thursday Failings

On wednesday I was just strolling around, enjoying the view, chillin' with some zombies, looking for ammo for my M16 M203, and then... I come across a WOMAN. In the castle of Rog.

So I shot her. Whoopsy DayZ (pun). Sorry about that, didn't expect you to be there. You did have some pretty nice stuff though, my toolbelt was almost complete by that point. I log out 300 meters away under a pine tree.

Next time I login my character is gone? I guess that's karma for you...

Anyway, I have to spawn as a new character, no problem I just miss my tool belt. I ride around Cherno, dodge zombies, get some stuff, manage to hop and crawl and wigglewiggle over some obstacles in the fire station and find a pretty AKS74 Kobra. Yay. I gather a bunch of morphine, supplies and head inland to Zelenogorsk.

Being totally careful and totally slowing down when crossing a road so I totally don't alarm them zeds while I go to the supermarket I alarm a bunch of zombies. No problem I just shoot em up in the building while I get the stuff I need.

I leave in peace and then outside, suddenly, I start glitching out and have to alt-tab back and forth. Then I notice this monkeycrawlerzombie all over me and decide to lose it. I hop fences, run around buildings, run inside of one.

I thought I lost that bastard. But nonono. He followed me inside the damn building. Bastard. So I shot him.

Then, after that, about 10 more come in line to the little room. I glitch out AGAIN, and when I'm back they're all over me. Shit. I shoot em, bandage myself, see some more coming back, pass out, wake up, shoot the rest of them. Now I have about 500 blood, but fortunately some cooked meat.

Phew. I survived. Or atleast I thought so... I decide to leave for the forest. I pass out and get eaten. End of story.

The irony in this is, that I've been saying that they're too easy and you can run through them. Well you can, I still think so. I just managed to fuck up big time. But I guess that's karma for you, like I said.
