How would you do?

If you had a L85A2 and a Mk 48 which would you have in the backpack During daytime/nighttime(with nvg)travels alone and when in a group?

And which weapon would you use in towns?

Btw the sidearm is a M1911.

Please explain your choices from a tactical viewpoint.

I would use M1911 in town, L85A2 on outskirts and MK48 before approaching.

I would use L85 pretty much all the time and 1911 in towns. The Mk48 is more useful when in a group for assaulting cities/airfields/camps, it is more of a PVP weapon imo. Because of the 7.62 round it is very very loud and will attract zombies from quiet a ways away. Whereas with the L85 using 5.56 ammunition you can clear your way in if you wish to without attracting "every" zombie in town.

This is pretty much How I've been playing since I found the L85. I also use it for spotting then switch to the Mk 48 for the execution, espescially at longer distances.

About the sound of the L85, I personally feel that it's louder than other weapons using 5.56 rounds. Does anyone else feel the same or know if it is or isn't according to zed aggro, distance heard and so on?
