Cruiser (DayZ) 0 Posted July 6, 2012 If you had a L85A2 and a Mk 48 which would you have in the backpack During daytime/nighttime(with nvg)travels alone and when in a group? The Mk48 is more useful when in a group for assaulting cities/airfields/camps, it is more of a PVP weapon imo. Because of the 7.62 round it is very very loud and will attract zombies from quiet a ways away. Whereas with the L85 using 5.56 ammunition you can clear your way in if you wish to without attracting "every" zombie in town. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

[/quote']This is pretty much How I've been playing since I found the L85. I also use it for spotting then switch to the Mk 48 for the execution, espescially at longer distances.About the sound of the L85, I personally feel that it's louder than other weapons using 5.56 rounds.
