That's right, nuclear power plants, introduce Geiger counters, nuclear plants, nuclear materials, etc. radioactivity should be an environmental hazard, when the world breaks down during a zombie apocalypse nuclear reactors are not going to run themselves. Imagine the nightmare of trying to find a reactor before it blows, this would encourage team cooperation, because if the reactor blows everyone dies. So it's in the players interest to stop killing one another and focus on reactor repairs.... or is it?

maybe a group with access to nuclear materials can carry that radioactive loot back to.... oh I don't know.... electro? Cherno? drop it in the hospital/grocery store, spread it around town to not only kill zombies but players...

but handle your dangerous material carelessly and poof you die!
