map doestn work?

Hey guys i've been playing DayZ for a little while but I have had one consistent problem, I cannot get the map to work.

I press "M" and all i get is a blank screen, has any one else had this problem? and if so how did you resolve it?

You have to find an actual map in game as loot before you can do that.

you can use "online maps" such as http://www.dayzmap.info (for others google "map dayz" - with loot spawnpoints or "map chernarus" for maps without spawnpoints).
