I am tired of the randomization of characters and why is it still not using the Steam name by default instead of "Survivor"?

I wonder this too, I don't see much point EXCEPT one: Admins (maybe streamers too) changing in-game name regularly so cheaters won't know if admin is stalking/following them?

But there are no admins on official, so that point of mine doesn't make much sense.

You can change your name in steam with no effort
