Mouse button remapping

Recommended Posts

Being left-handed I have Windows switch the left/right mouse buttons - this saves me the bother of having to set up that switch in individual games and applications. Most programs/games - in fact ALL of them up to now -  have obeyed this Windows remapping but DayZ seems to bypass it. The game does allow me to switch the keys for in-game functionality but this leads to a silly situation where interactions with the game itself (such as the setup functions) use the "right-handed" default (Mouse1 being "left button") even when the in-game functions (fire/swing for example) use the switched functionality!

Actually the game behaviour is even stranger than I described above - while the interface ignores my Windows re-mapping the game controls setup seems to be aware of it because when I try to switch the mouse buttons in the controls menu I end up mapping "left button" (which is actually the right button) to "left button" ...

Will this ever be fixed?
