Long stick problems

Anyone else see 1.17 anyways? If you break down a long stick to make three short. Then make a trip wire, that last stick is bugged and wont go into a fireplace. I made it into a torch, then broke it down. It went into fire then. I get why none of my friends play it, it's a hard game to learn, but I'm trying to continue enjoying it. Their making it very hard. Console needs a new map or at least give us winter Chernarus please. I've wanted my money back on Livonia since I bought DLC! I chalked that up as helping yous guys tho. And o yeah let me eat a potato without peeling it!!
