No loot in custom buildings

I'm new to modding using DayZ Tools for a server for console. I have been following some Youtube videos but I'm already stuck.

I have managed to spawn in a number of buildings at the NEAF by adding them to a custom json file, that bit works fine. 

I have also added all the co-ordinates (exported from DayZ Editor) to the mapgrouppos.xml file as, according to the Tube, this triggers the normal loot to spawn for each building, but I don't get any loot in the buildings.

Do I also have to add events for this to work ? Grateful for any guidance here. Thanks.
