Brandberg 5 Posted February 17, 2022 "Hanna RU High" is not a question, it's a statement. Question marks are there, where they should be (like in "Why??", "Nothing??") I checked for places that contained both R and U. RadUnin. I went to the tallest building in Radunin, assuming it would be a good spot for a sniper girl. But there was nothing in the church ruins. I also checked the roof. The next "high" location would be one of the hills. I went to the eastern one. There were artillery targets there. In lines, with spaces. So Morse code, again. I made notes and went to the opposite side of the village, to the artillery stands - that's where the targets are supposed to be seen from. Using a scope, if you read the bottom line from right to left, it says "NEAR". The next word, from left to right, assuming that the three dots that are not at the same distance one from another, are indeed one letter, and are placed like that to make the code less obvious (additionally, distance between the separated one is smaller than between neighboring letters), is EAST". The next one, assuming it's part of the same line, and assuming, again, that the three stones are indeed one letter and not two, is "S". And now, from left to right: (S) (EAST) NEAR. Why is one of the words written from the left and the other from the right? To make it less obvious? No idea. There is a structure right above, which might suggest such direction: O OO- -OO O So, (S) (EAST) or maybe just NEAR, buuuut... from the observation point (the tower?), or maybe from the targets? Or maybe... But you know what? There's a difference between puzzles being difficult, and ones that are just random and chaotic, like, for example, Bible verses encoded in neolithic structures using Morse code. Good puzzles are based on logical thinking, and not on random guessing, to make them seem more difficult. I know it's not easy to create them when people use map editors and check game files for possible solutions - which is just embarrassing - but it is possible. Here, I don't know if I'm trying to solve something already solved in Arma - despite the first sentence of the description of this map saying: "Livonia is the brand-new DLC map for DayZ". Or maybe the next steps of the puzzle are just not there and will be added in upcoming updates (new structures? items? buildings?)? Or maybe it's just an accident? I have no idea, and it's a bit discouraging. Therefore, if you think it makes sense, please look around for solution (if there is any). I checked the area roughly, not going to spend more time there. There are also other possible combinations on that hill, but I gave up on them. P.S. The missing post from my previous thread appeared, I don't know when.
