Game not working :(

Hi all,

I am new to Dayz and have played for about 25 hours, however now i can access the launcher but as soon as i press play dayz is just a black window and my mouse is a loading symbol and after some time dayz closes itself and steam and i have to task manager discord, everything else is normal. I have tried:

- Uninstalling and reinstalling Dayz

-Reinstalling GPU drivers

-Clearing steam cached data and Dayz cached data

-Loading with and without mods

-Joining a server through the launcher

-Running in windows mode

-Ran in bulldozer mode

SO i have tried a lot of different methods but if anyone has an alternative or a different way to do one of the methods above it would be much appreciated :)

Alright I had the same exact issue and this is the fix that worked for me. 

First off, you’re going to want to have both DayZ and DayZ Experimental installed, then head on over to the local files of each game and delete all the files in your DayZ folder, after doing so Copy & Paste all of your files from the DayZ Experimental folder into the DayZ folder.

Viola, you (hopefully) should have your issue solved. If not best of luck.

(You don’t have to validate the game on steam or anything just launch it.)
