Did I start off wrong?

Recommended Posts

I first started playing with my buddy after buying the game. I met him in debug forest and he helped me fix the bug. Well most people that started playing this game started alone and I started with a partner. When people play this game they have a blast! I'm starting to see the glow slowly fade away... Is it that i started playing this game with a friend and not alone?

Sounds like something that happens rarely. Usually you start next to the beach and in random positions along the shore. I think you might have saved some time by not having to find each other though!

I think he meant that he and his friend decided to buy and play the game together.

It is a sandbox game, there are numerous play styles and strategies that you can choose to follow. If it is too easy you can also limit yourself in-game, e.g. only allowed to eat raw meat and from water canteens, the soda and beans are "contaminated".

You can always take a break and play a different game for a while, when you come back in a few weeks there should be a few big changes which makes it interesting.

I bought Legend of Grimrock last night, so that should keep me busy whilst I wait for 1.7.2 to come out.

Well definitely its quite an experience to have to find out where you are when you are all alone, have to scavenge and move on off the coast, so in sort of a way you circumvented that part, but eventually you will die and your buddy won't be online or close by and you'll get that experience as well. There is no specific way to play this mod, thats why some people just go over to being sociopaths and others become hermits.
