A Survival camp/safezone

This has been brought up from others, but i thought a thread would be cool to discuss the idea.

I'm thinking about being able to line a perimeter with wire and fence, build tree stands for guards and generally have a place for medical help, food or anything else someone might need...even a place to log out safely.

I think it would have to be built in the north (which would add to the storyline) in a relatively secure location, terrain wise.

Thoughts on this?

Would anywhere be truly safe in a zombie apocalypse? This game actually needs less safety (ie the woods between towns) and more danger: danger, tension, paranoia are what makes it so great.
