Crosshair overlays

So i just started playing DayZ again and people i play with use crosshair overlays. I would like to ask if its safe to use them. I tried to find an answer in other places but people argue orver the topic everywhere so I finally decided to ask in the official forum. So do you break in agreement with the anticheat if you use crosshair overlay ?

If the server allows it, there is a crosshair in DayZ. No need to use addons.
