An interesting add on could be the ability to play as a zombie. Like perhaps you are the leader of a pack or 3-5 zombies, if you die you change to another of the pack. And if your pack dies, you respawn back in elecrto or some other spawn area. 

Could also make it so have a timer lock out to change back to a survivor, this way players could kill a geared survivor then change back to loot him. 

Could also make life interesting for spawn campers, as now zombies could over run them and push them out. 

Anyway just a rando thought i had, wondered what you guys would think.
