kenkasmar 0 Posted August 2, 2021 I have been chasing this around for a while. It is clear that currently, car doors do not have geometry (even when it is defined correctly in the model). Open any car door in game and you can clip right through it. My question is, why was it done this way? Before I dive into trying to figure out how the messing with overrides on carscript to try and make this happen, I wanted to ask why in case there was a very good and specific reason. Clearly building doors have geometry and animate it, so why not cars? (normally it doesn't matter because the entire car will have geometry and the only way to get in is it 'sit in a seat'. I have a vehicle that has hollow space on the inside which brings the problem to light).
