have you ever considered making a ammo box mod where it has a hp bar instead of a count and could reload any caliber but depending on the caliber depends on how much the hp bar depletes like the sharpening stone.

small caliber ammo would get much more out of it than large caliber and if the hp bar gets to low for a specific caliber you could still use it to reload a smaller round, for example one box could reload 150 .22 rounds but only 50 .308/762x54 (or 10 .50 bmg if you have modded weapons).
