Swapping inventories/re spawning dead player

What happened: Repeatedly killed the same hostile player and somehow swapped backpacks and inventory contents and backpacks with the hostile player.

Where you were: NW Airstrip.

What you were doing: I was looting the NW Airstrip and following a few players hoping to find a camp to loot when several loud shots rang out. I knew that it wasn't one of the people I was following as they all had shotguns or akm/ak47's. I went prone and began to look for the sniper and soon spotted him in a metal guard tower, near the two northern hangars. I got in a good position and shot him. He went down and the message in the corner came up saying I had killed him. I noticed he had something I have been looking for quite a lot lately, a scoped rifle. So I quickly climbed up the ladder to loot his corpse. Maybe a minute later another player with the same camo skin, coyote pack, and DMR appears 1-2 feet in front of me. I freak out and spray him with my akm, killing him. The game says I killed the same person again. Now out of curiosity I loot him, and find he has the EXACT SAME stuff in his inventory as the first guy. While pondering this and looking to see if I had agroed any zombies guess who appears again? The same guy. So I end up killing him FOUR times, game saying I have killed the same guy each time. Finally I attract a zombie, and pull out my g17 and wait for it to climb up the ladder. As soon as it gets up I am shooting it and the guy appears in the same spot again, standing in a pile of his own bodies. I am just so confused by this that I don't react in time to him shooting me. Next thing I know I am unconscious I immediately hear him climbing down the ladder. 4-5 minutes later I get up and realize I am now holding a DMR. I open my inventory and see all of the stuff that was in his inventory. I open my/his bag and see an AS50, and an m4a3 CCO. for comparison the bag I had before this (the Alice pack) was full of bandages and mags for my AKM.

*Timeline of events before/after error: Went to the NW Airstrip with my AKM, inventory full of steaks and ammo, and my bag full of medical supplies/ammo. Killed the same guy 4 times before he made me go unconscious. Got up and now have his pack, weapons and other supplies.

-Not that I am complaining, I have some very good weapons and ammo for all of them now. Just thought it was really weird and that I should report this whole thing.
