Proximity Chat HELP

I have all the correct settings, I am pushing Down on the D-Pad, I even know how to double tap it, and NO ONE CAN HEAR ME. What gives?! I’m not muted, my mic works fine, other games it works, in the Ps4 party it works, but nothing is working here. Please help. Me and my buddies want to use proximity chat

I might be wrong, but proximity chat doesn't work while you are in a party (?, possibly a bug?). Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, I don't play on consoles.

I’m not in a Party! I am in game, using push to talk and neither my friend or me and can hear eachother!

works fine for me on ps4, you must not be doing something right. check all your settings with the mic you are using.

It’s not just me, my friend’s I’m playing with can’t do it either! It’s so freaking confusing. None of us are are in a party, we’re all using push to talk, all settings are CORRECT, and still, Can’t, hear, or talk....
