Can't build wall in front of watchtower

Recommended Posts

We build a wall of watchtower. An a lot in a hall. In front of every watchtower is a wall so that our base ist two walls strong. They stand really close together but ain't cliping. It's console, cliping wouldnt work anyways. It works everywhere just fine. Except the cornering towers. These are the vital parts. The sites work fine to but the front wall not. I can build the fence, but if I want to build the watchtower wall right behind it, there won't come no option to build. We tried different tools, sets of nails, materials on different days. Nothing seems to help. Not even putting t 192.168.1.254 he fence like 30cm further away. I can't explain why this is happening because it works for every other tower. Playing on ps4. Hope someone has a solution. 10.0.0.0.1

Its a collision bug between structure you build and rest of the map like buildings or even other walls / watchtowers. You need be really patient if you want build something in dayz because margins of error is small. A lot of time you need to dismantle entire wall and put again fence kit in other "pixel" position.

I asked about this problem lead dayz developer - Adam, but he said that they dont want to fix these collisions because players would build 394928437982 gates into loot rooms with best gear. In my opinion its stupid way of thinking because this pixel precision is absurdly stupid.
