FATAL50 1 Posted February 5, 2021 (edited) Add: -Poncho and extra character equip slot. Can be crafted from tarp (new tarp colors needed ex: camo, black). The Poncho would cover the entire character with extra clothing equip slot. -Tripwire could be crafted like fence kits and allow the player to attach grenades to the tripwire. This would help make base defense better and make players more cautious in high tier loot areas. -GPS could be implemented like the handheld transceiver but with a 4 to 6 digit code. GPS would have a battery slot for operation. If grouped players acquire the GPS they could sync codes on the GPS allowing the grouped players to see player markers above their heads at all times on screen. This would help with teammate location tracking and improve tactics in firefights. GPS could also display a mini map with players current position. This could be a high tier loot item. This also allows players within clans to see each other. Edited February 9, 2021 by FATAL50 Platform Specific
UntilValhalla27 3 Posted February 12, 2021 I like the poncho idea alot, it'd help alot with avoiding getting wet during rain and bad weather. It'd also open a new slot that the Ghille shrug and cloak could go in too, I just dont know how the poncho slot would work with backpacks. The tripwire would be awesome especially if you could rig your signal gun to it too so when tripped it fires a Flare, I'm perfectly fine with grenades too as long as they have never had the pin removed (Full length fuse) and make an identifiable noise when tripped and can be disabled with pliers or bladed weapons. As for the GPS I dont think an item that adds markers above players heads, it would take away from the game experience and immersion. However a satellite GPS that provides a digital map, player location, and digital compass (possibly show synced player GPS' on the map) would be an awesome end-game navigation. Tired of having to use the online interactive map.
