Shovel repair

So i only used my shovel for digging up my stashs and never needed to repair it. With the new update however the time has come for repairs and i don't know what to do to fix it. Or can it be fixed? 

 

P.s I'm diggin the new update;)

Have you tried duct tape or the sharping stone? I have not had to repair one just get a new one as I come acress them.
