Is Duping Still Present on Some or All Platforms?

Curious to find out what is going on in the present state of DayZ. Thank you in advance for any and all intel.

Helicopter crash sites have been barren on HC Vanilla on PS4 the last two or more months. The last 10 heli-crashes I’ve visited have no high-tier loot, and not just ARs, there are no mags, ghillies, etc. I've stopped pursuing them all together.

While watching a stream, someone mentioned duping. 

I’m a hardcore DayZ player, Vanilla 1pp only, and I never cheat or exploit bugs. Example: I wouldn’t take a 9V from a former squad member whom had “recharged” his used batteries with the hand restraining method in 1.08 or 1.07, can’t remember which it was. I am strongly against unlimited stamina mods. I also wish that guns, especially civilian models, were more rare (less on map). I wish for DayZ to be in the intended state the developers had envisioned.

That being said, I am not against any of you enjoying a customized experience suited to your preferences.

If duping is still occurring, I will be on the hunt for bases and despawning gear to make my home server healthy again. Should I start planning to restore the Central Economy?
