game crashing when i move things around in inventory

So, this happens on whatever server I'm on, modded or vanilla. I can do everything else, run around and its all perfect. But when i try to interact with clothes, it seems like, in my inventory, like removing t shirt and trying to put on a jacket from the ground (for example) the game freezes, and eventually crashes. I've tried to reinstall, verify game files, reinstalled battleye etc. Still the same issue. I have no idea what to do anymore
