Scyphon 1 Posted August 11, 2020 So I am looking into this game now and about to buy and join in. Few simple questions... 1. Guessing this is only PvP and never PvE, unless buying your own server... so when you die, do you lose absolutely everything? 2. Is it worth getting Livonia right away? (other than saving a few bucks) 3. Are bases saved on the server and just left unattended when you log? 4. Open to other basic tips and info - besides the obvious of PvP: Trust no one. Skyblue7708 1 Posted August 12, 2020 Yes when you die in this game you lose everything and spawn back on the coast somewhere with just your trusty glow stick, rags and a piece of fruit, you can spend hours days even weeks (if you lucky) looting up and getting geared But in a blink of an eye it’s all gone, but that’s the fun part having to start all over again. that’s a matter of opinion I play on both and enjoy both however Livonia is a smaller map. bases are only stored on the server you build it on, so if you move to another server your base doesn’t follow so make sure you note what sever you build it on. from a personal point the only real tip for this game is just enjoy it ignore negative comments about it, yes there are issues but play around them, make your own mind up about it, I personally love the game and play on both Xbox and PlayStation, the only other tip is download the iZurvive map on your phone or tablet from the istore or android as it will help you find you way around both maps and there is also I wiki with all gear food etc and where best to find them. Also make sure you have a mic as they DayZ saying no mic no life if true but not always, most people will shoot on site but not everyone. Scyphon 1 Posted August 12, 2020 Skyblue, greatly appreciated. I am hoping to get this rolling soon and join what looks like a really fun game. I have seen quite a bit of the shoot first, mock after, and prepare to repeat. All games have these players and its something to accept. As you said, you have to ignore that negativity and don't let others tell you how the game can be. Play and find out yourself. More than likely, I will buy basic and learn the game better before I decide on Livonia. Perhaps we will cross paths, mic will be set for sure. Happy hunting friend. Either find one or make it with 2 rocks I believe. Guessing that all schematics are just known in this game? Im guessing you can harvest meat off any animal you get.
