I'm thinking that inspecting bodies to see what killed them could lead to very interesting interactions and would not be hard to implement.

Yes. Maybe they could have dead bodies still bleed from where they were shot like in previous versions, or have visivle wound like in Arma 2. Scars are also something the devs would like to add so this could work together.
