NPCs on the way?

I had a glitched death and then a glitch spawn in the middle of nowhere. There is some NPC here who I can greet and ask about location and weather etc. Anyone else know anything about NPCs?

His name is George Smith Btw

There's also a sheep out here. Wandering around. Hope an admin can get me back to the map.

Those're just the villagers in regular ArmA. Probably a bug that one spawned in DayZ.

Or maybe a zombie just didn't initialize as a zombie or something. I don't know, somethin' wacky.
