Game won't launch

Hello, I've tried searching for a solution on google, reddit, steam and here and haven't found anything that helps me.

 

I click on play, it says battleye has started, launching the game then it just resets the message to "Ready to Play - Steam is online."

Nothing happens.

I've verified the game files and tried launching the game from the .exe files in the directory and they don't seem to start at all. I've also tried disabling the anti cheat program and downloaded Visual C++ latest but to no avail.
