andrethetyrant 1 Posted June 23, 2020 So This game I was hesitant at first because of the reviews I read about rust. Knowing that I know that rust was or is an offshoot of dayz or atleast very similar. So my last three days of straight play I have noticed a few things that could be improved upon. Just my suggestions I am not complaining. I love the environment of it all. First off adding bicycles would help quite a bit. With so much walking and running it depletes the hunger and thirst quite a bit which causes multiple deaths constantly. Secondly if there were more food available would help greatly (now I know it would make the game less hard but there is a fix to that....just add more zs makes it a little more difficult but not almost impossible to survive. Thirdly I have noticed on the console that some players actually board up rooms where they like to stash stuff, now I dont know about anyone else...but when you swing an axe at a wooden wall...something should happen lol. Over all the game is fantastic and at times overly complicated but it does ad to the rush of everything. Feedback is fine just dont be an ass please
EzyStriderPS4 191 Posted June 24, 2020 I wish there was less food, and less non-predatory animal spawns. What you may be running into with the wooden walls built by other players is an exploit that doesn't give you the prompt to destroy the wall with a tool because of the wall's location (intentionally built that way by the player). And about the wall they should make it where you cant build onto a structure but have to create your own structure. kinda like pre made huts you can add too. That would make it a lot more fair and not allow people to be selfish with item spawn locations, when it comes to the predatory animals honestly I haven't ran into any yet I usually stick to the cities I know eventually i will because I plan on making a safe haven in he middle of the woods on a server so players can be safe and can trade for supplies. EzyStriderPS4 191 Posted June 24, 2020 You'll get the hang of the hunger mechanic with more experience. For me, it's no longer an issue, with proper preparation of course.Suggestions: 1. Find or make a fishing rod. 2. Hunt animals. (cooked fat is VERY calorie-rich) 3. The infected don't drop as much food as they used to, though you may get lucky now and then.4. Even if the Apple icon for Hunger is full, you can still consume foods as long as your stomach is not full (separate icon). I eat everything I come across; unless I'm near the coast, in which case, I will spare some rations now and then for freshies. This strategy can keep you full for hours (real-time) and your inventory will be less cluttered!

Or maybe you prefer a different way to play from other experiences you've had. Remember, it's a large map and no singular player will be able to control all the spawn points of a specific item, realistically speaking. I'm just playing "devil's advocate," I enjoy debate and discussion, not argument.

EzyStriderPS4 191 Posted June 25, 2020 Speaking of the airport, don't forget to check the green guard towers; there is good loot in there sometimes and no one cares to barricade those.
