Tdubs0301 0 Posted May 29, 2020 Hey all, I’ve always been a PlayStation user and think I always will be. I just got dayz and love it but I’ve been thinking it would be better on pc. Is there a pre built pc that would be good for a noob? I really don’t know anything about building one so pre built might be the easiest for me. Any advice would be appreciated thanks

Any advice would be appreciated thanks if you got the moneys you can check out Corsair and NZXT prebuilts from what i hear they are nice...best PCs start from around 500-700 USD don't waste money on going cheaper then that... not worth it trust me
Tdubs0301 0 Posted May 30, 2020 What are some of the specs I should be focusing on? I know some about computers but not enough.
William Sternritter 449 Posted June 1, 2020 So here are my two cents, because I've recently got a new case and started watching my performance in more detail again, focusing on thermals. For reference, I have 3700x and RTX2070 and here's the deal: - CPU is pretty much chillin, somewhere between 30%-40% of utilization - GPU is nonstop @98% utilization and I'm not kidding on this one, even in the main menu. Obligatory, fix your game Bohemia! FFS, this crossover engine is terribly optimized if at all, there better be some miracles if Arma4 will use the same base. Thus I would say, go for the best GPU for the budget you have. Devs hardly speak to us about performance these day and I would not hold my breath. If you go to larger cities your FPS will drop significantly, for me it's ~100 in the county and ~60 in a big city near large industrial or apartment buildings. Get a good, reliable GPU that can handle constant load for a long time and get some serious cooling on it 😄 This game is practically a GPU stress test. I have just made the jump from xbox to pc this week. I have a 3900x and the rtx2070 super. on extreme settings playing in native 4k resolution i'm getting ~40fps which i find easily playable (probably due to being a console player) It looks amazing on these settings and the menu system is so much better on pc than console. I know the game is still plagued by bugs and even my first time playing it on pc yesterday i killed a chicken then couldn't carve it up! i don't mind logging out and back in every now and then (until the day i drop a FAL and it de-syncs - then i will probably smash my keyboard) Definitely better on PC though, although to enjoy it in its full glory you will be spending the guts of 2 grand... Walker389 0 Posted July 14, 2020 There is an assembly, but is it worth assembling a computer for convenience in one game???
