Is there a way to film Day Z without the UI?

Record the game with the UI setting set to small. Make sure you are on a veteran server, as well. With video editor crop the screen so that the UI is cropped out - voilà.

there is a built in script in arma that runs a camera. you can only use it in editor or on a server where custom files are allowed. this exec "camera.sqs"
