Crafting/Building defense obstacles

I think it would be fun if you could use logs and rope to make makeshift Czech Hedgehogs, also you should be able to dig fighting holes/trenches with a shovel (this leads to my next idea), you should be able to sharpen short sticks and put them in said holes/trenches for pungee pits, use logs for tall strong base walls, sharpen logs to make spikes to come out of the ground pointing away from walls. I'd really like the digging in option especially if they make it a base option that would let you put tarps over the hole/trench to make it waterproof and camouflage it. As a side not it would be great if you can saw the shovel in half to make a lighter shovel/e-tool. Thank you and have a great day!
