Your game is a tedious buggy joke, can you fix it?

hello bohemia,

im posting here in hopes of a response from the devs and maybe some back up from the community, ive been following dayz since i saw the mod on pc and finally got this game on PS4. I waited on getting the game because of the duping problem(i played ark legacy and was not putting up with that sh*t again) and have gotten the game about a month ago i was enjoying my time in the game learning how to play.

Now that i've moved on from being a beach bob i have started to encounter a lot of game breaking bugs, i have spent literally days searching for helicopter crashes and being pretty successful the game breaking heart shattering bug is the tier 4 weapons im finding disappear from my hands or off my back when i log out and log back in ive lost 2 VSD rifles an M4A1 and now just an hour ago a ka-74 rifle that is a F***ing joke and just to rub salt in the wounds the large tent i have will store all my high end loot but then i cant remove it from the tent untill the server resets not to mention the wooden crates do the exact same thing so storage is an unreliable mess.

The rest of the bugs you probably know about as well but i'll mention them any way, i just killed a guy i'm starving to death sweet he has some food,nope i can't get it from his inventory the same as his gun. My buddy is hungry,sick or needs an item, i drop it for him he cant see it or pick it up. I'm hungry, my character somehow can't eat the item i have in the quick slot or the mag im trying to reload or just wont reload, the mag i just picked up wont reload untill i log out then back in and then more often than not the item has disappeared after logging in again.the bug that somehow removes a weapon from your inventory when picking up another item of clothing when dropping old clothing you just replaced the weapon will go to the clothing you just dropped on the floor to discard, the bug that causes the clothes you drop on the floor with your gear in it to just disappear probably a lot more bugs i can't think of coz i'm still seething.

With the food  and water consumption so high the constant rain and constantly having to repair literally everything you use on top of these bugs the game is slow,tedious and not much fun besides the min or so actual combat lasts, i still like the game and want to keep playing but the negatives are outweighing the positives at the moment.

P.S  Please add in some type of spawn item for bases like a bed or sleeping bag one life use or a spawn timer.

One way to help keep things from getting stuck in storage (e.g. drums, crates, tents, cars, etc.) is to transfer them manually over to the container.  IME, swapping items from your hands to the container ("X"  I believe) almost always results in items getting stuck.  More commonly this happens when I have my weapon in hand and try to get something from the car (forgetting the firearm is in my hands).  I then try to recover it and it's stuck.

When reloading weapons with magazines, never use the reload button (triangle).  This may work for a time but IME, the weapon / magazines will eventually glitch.  The SKS, single shot rifles and those other weapons with internal magazines are the exception it seems although I have had rare probs with SKSs.  I use the combine function with a mag from my inventory or one I place on the item wheel.  

btw, I'm not trying to dismiss any of your problems as I think even ones where there are "work-arounds" have no excuse for existing this long.  ....and even with these work-arounds there is still no guarantee you won't encounter problems with them as I have (although rare when following those tricks).  

I love the hardcore aspects of a survival game like DayZ but it's no fun when you go through all the trouble of surviving only to be stymied by a bug whether that's the inability to shoot something (no damage sustained by the target), freeaing in place (and being eaten by zombies, killed by another player, etc.), crashing in a car your spent day or weeks building because of lag / freezes, etc., not being able to bandage yourself because the action will not work, inability to drink or eat (again, because the action doesn't work), etc.

I totally agree, this game is unplayable on PS4. Countless of bugs which aren’t fixed.

Devs plz do something about it or dayz will die fast on PS4.

Any hopes to get a response from the devs is laughable.   They aren't responding to you.  That would involve giving a crap, which they clearly don't.   They are only concerned with their bottom line, not community support or really giving the players what they want, which is in fact just a PLAYABLE game without gamebreaking horribly frustrating refund worthy bugs.   Heck, seems like they are now just locking down posts when people are posting something unfavorable about the game because the response from a majority of players is just so negatively overwhelming.

I barely even play anymore, it isn't worth it.  I've let my private server lapse, no point in paying for something broken.   I've pretty much accepted the console version of this game is never going to get the support that's been asked of and to keep coming back and begging for it is just a complete waste of time.  We shouldn't have to beg for it, we -paid- for it.   The only reason DayZ is still even on my system is because it isn't April yet, which is when all the new games I am playing are being released, after which point DayZ will be uninstalled.   I've already dropped paying for servers from Nitrado - and barely play the game anymore really unless one of my friends really wants to play it.   But I think it's about time to find something more productive to do.

Can't wait for console Rust.   I won't even miss DayZ.

Ok since the latest patches that included unlocking the files for server owners the game has been fun as F*CK, but not the official, but as most people recommended trying a private  server I found one that is great if you like PvP look it up. PURE TOXIC PVP (PVP MOD)

Where are the devs responses? I've seen 5 year old posts about the exact same issues. This isn't reddit or whatnot, it's the official BI website. Are we being disregarded or is there no solution? Your game is literally "unplayable" & it's as if you're okay with it or don't care. How can you as an employee be okay with representing something that is beyond broken? Changes are so so simple or am I just an ignorant oblivious child? I always hear "well from a business perspective." If you're even making sufficient money from a base game with 1 DLC it's coming from something that is no longer what made it. From my humble opinion you should not be proud of accumulating such "hollow money." There is a simple reason a game that is close to perfect in some aspects has 1-2 star ratings & more than half the content on PC is community created. The creators milk it for all they can & allow it to fall into blank. As I was saying about the BI employees representing something, you as an employee should care about what you're presenting. If you aren't the one that "makes the calls" then talk to your boss, have them talk to their boss. Change people's minds & money making perspectives up to the person pulling the strings that has them in a knot. It's exactly the roll over & take it mentality that causes something with potential to crumble. You're far from the only company doing it, if they don't all. I get it's just the way things are, so why not try being different & not just being influenced by what's "the only way it'll work." Sure this is an in the moment rant, but I've thought about it for years & years & about more than just video game companies & there's no regret taking the change of being heard. I don't see why my frustrations wouldn't be easily understood. So community & BI both, what am I missing? Why are these simple changes not so simple? Why is putting the product before the income not the way to make income? It's not hard to just move onto a new game or stop spending my time in a virtual world where every company works the same way & ignores their community. If you don't think you're ignoring your community you're in denial & splitting hairs with the few ways & times that you do make a positive change. Please read this at least 2 times to actually understand where I am coming from & what I'm trying to explain. Surely you care at least a little if you read this far, so ultimately all I ask is you stop rolling over & complying with something you don't agree with. Demand changes. I don't mean any disrespect this is just my way of trying to be assertive. Because clearly ASKING does literally nothing.
