Mod tiles on main menu are white/can't log into any server

So after the most recent update I have not been able to get into my own server.  When ever I attempted to log in nothing happens.  The server did not even register me attempting to log in.   I figured it was just an issue with the mods so I waited a few days then started updating everything server side.  I noticed the mod tiles (not sure what to call them) in the bottom right side of the screen were all plain white except for the new Livonia DLC.  The problem persisted, other players have had no issue logging in.  I started by verifying the local files, then I cleared all files and reloaded the game.  I have attempted to log into other servers with the same result each time.
