Diff Character on diff servers?

Hi,

sometimes if i leave a server & go to another one the next day my character has lost some equipment or is completely different.

But...

If i go back to the original server my character is as it should be.

So is this normal? Should my character be the same across all servers?

Your character should be the same on all servers - you should be at the same spot where you logged off the last time, have the same equipment, same zombie/player-kill numbers and the same blood level...

Things that vary at the moment are numbers of rounds in clips (half empty clips usually get refilled upon relogging - sometimes they dissappear tho - apparently this will be fixed in the next version) and the look of civilian clothing may vary between logins (2 players might also see different civilian clothing on the same player at the same time).

Special things happen when you log off while being in the "shock" state... so avoid that at all costs.

If you have different/no stuff on a server that server is probably not connected to the central dayz server which stores your character.
