Some Account issue

So i bought a second copy of Dayz to play on my own while not to risk my gear that i play with friends. (We play in Official Servers cause we dont like modded Servers)

So i bought the copy activated it on a different steam account and loaded the Game. But in the Main Menu i see my old gear and on play there is the IP from the Server i am playing on.

So my question is. Is this Intentional? Is there away to go around this?

I found out it is just the preview of the char from my first account. If i loog into the Server i have another char. Work fine. Thanks though
