Saur0n25 0 Posted October 11, 2019 (edited) Hello Guys and Girls Today i started my adventure with DayZ standalone, my first experience with DayZ was in Arma II version of the mod since then i know it can be sometimes "unstable". But now im experiencing issue which i cannot handle by myself. Every time im playing the game im experiencing this error: "The instruction at 0x############# referenced memory at 0x#############. The memory could not be written" It happens randomly, sometimes after 10 minutes of playing, sometimes 40 to 60 minutes. Few times i got this error almost instantly after trying to start the game. I searched on this forum and on the internet for possible solutions but unfortunately none of them works. I tried to manage system page file, disabling antivirus software, installing old graphic card drivers and newest ones, repairing game files, deleting config folder in "My Documents" but none of them works. For now im out of options and I completely don't know what to do. Maybe you Guys can help me to handle this problem. Here is specification of my PC CPU: Intel Core i7 4790k GPU: Nvidia GTX 970 RAM: 16 GB DDR3 Motherboard: Gigabyte z97x Gaming 5 System: Windows 7 64 bit with Service Pack 1 System Page File: Almost 50 GB This error happens only in DayZ, in other even more power-hungry games everything works perfectly. Also i cannot put here my crash log file and dxdiag so im providing you a link to a hosting which contain them: DayZReport_Log_20191011T001610_Szymon.zip Edited October 11, 2019 by Saur0n25
Saur0n25 0 Posted October 12, 2019 (edited) Ok, i think i have finally resolved my problem. I started to switching my RAM chips suspecting it might be caused by them but it didn't help a lot. Then i started to deeply inspecting my operating system, i found a lot of corrupted, missing or duplicated files, damaged registry, memory diagnostic wasn't working at all. Propably all this mess was due to my disk change few months ago. I migrated my system from old HDD drive to new SSD one, and i think this caused all this mess. I installed fresh copy of Windows 10 and for now i played more than hour without any errors, i hope it will stay like this.
