Rainbow's Journey.

Recommended Posts

This wall of text will be my Journey on my first character called Rainbow, I'll update each "DAY" with every time I log onto the character and play for a few hours.

Day Z: Do it for the story.

DAY ONE:

I washed up on the shore's of Chernarus, not knowing where I was..who I was...

I ran east, found a nice little suburb called Elektrozavodsk, there were zombies all around and I had now idea where i was going, I crept around a couple of buildings, to avoid the undead and found myself standing inside a Fire station where to my suprise a M4A1 rifle was lying on the ground, I picked it up, equipped it and made my way up to the rooftop to get my bearings.

I heard noises coming from the North so as I turned to look North I saw a bus, driven by what look like a panicking male, then I saw what followed, about 20 zombies giving chase then turning and facing me.

I was trapped..Luckily Zombies can't climb ladders but trapped i was indeed, without water, food and only 1 bullet I had choices to make. Fight my way out or use that 1 bullet on myself.

"AHOY THERE!" someone shouts, "are you friendly?" the stranger yelled, throwing a flare into the distance, "Yes im friendly, Im starving and thirsty and i need help please!" i yelled back. Spinning around trying to see who was watching me, was he safe? Could I trust this stranger? Part of me wondered if he had any food on him...

"when I give th signal, get down the ladders, get on your belly and crawl north!" the stranger gave directions thankfully, "which was is north???" I was concerned, without a compass i couldn't tell..

"Just run left of the flare and crawl up!"

So i did.

I carefully clambered down the ladder, got on to my belly and began crawling away from the building "Zombies all around you just go straight you'll be fine!" - I trusted him, whether i should or shouldn't, I did.

As I reached the top of the hill the barrel of a rifle was protruding from a bush "Hey there!" It was him, my saviour. "Lets get you geared my friend!" BOOOOM, a bullet whizzed over our heads "SNIPERS!! GET DOWN!" We hit the floor crawling for any kind of cover we could find, hearing the cracks of bullets whizz over our skulls, "keep going head for the tree-line!!" We crawled faster than we'd crawled before, zig zagging through the grass, trying our best to avoid the snipers, and it happened, "player was killed" my team-mate was shot in the skull by one of the snipers, I was horrified to see my helping stranger die so brutally but, in this world I had to survive. I rolled into a bush and I hid there, for at least 15 minutes before slowly making my way out to check my friend, indeed he was dead.

I did what I had to do and went through his belongings, hatchet, hunting knife, binoculars, night vision, flares, lots of food, water, sniper rifle, compass, he had everything i needed to survive and as he couldnt use it anymore, I took it and crawled back into the bush.

the next day I was sure the snipers would be gone by now so I began crawling towards the hill, remembering advice another person had told me "head North West" so i began my journey, alone, supplied with food, water and plenty of ammunition, I knew what I had to do, and how to get there.

DAY TWO

I began my journey crouching through the tree's and forests, avoidng all human and non-human contact for many hours, drinking and eating as little as i could to preserve what I had, I would avoid firing any weapons at all costs unless it was absolutely nessaary.

Every movement I heard, I proned, stayed silent and pushed on forward, ignoring all cries for help and all towns I passed, I couldn't stop now, I needed to press on forward.

Crawling up a very heavily dense forest I could see what looked like a tower, without any sense of where I was, only that I was heading north west i began my slow crawl towards this tower..Everything was silent, it was becomming night so I'd have to move if i wanted to survive in this urban wasteland.

As i made my way towards the tower I could see a sign..what did I say? Kopyto, I'd never heard of it but I needed somewhere to camp for the night, I began crawling through the giant stone arch when I heard something, snarling, growling.. There were un-dead around, near me, somewhere by me.. I was getting nervous.

I crawled towards the main tower, looking all around me, I could hear at least three of four different groans, I was sure this would be my grave.

I made it to the tower and very slowly began my ascent up the stairs, I found food, water and a new rifle with ammunition as I made my way to the top of this very dark, stone, ancient tower and there it was. Feet. Undead Feet. Above the stairs I could see it, standing still, breathing, snarling.

I took out my hatched and advanced towards this...creature, WACK!!! I gave the beast three hits with my axe and down it went, hoping to god nothing heard the screams.

No loot on it "damn" I muttered.

Using the tower as a vantage point I equipped my binoculars and peered around, hoping to see any signs of life, towns or even a road and I saw a village in the far distance, according the map the only town near my location was mogilevk, I decided to camp here for the night, equipping razor wire on teh stairecase ensuring i would sleep alone tonight, I slept, quite peacefully.

DAY THREE.

As I woke, I could hear screaming, was that.... gun-fire? Where was that coming from? I peered over the top to see a poor survivor being mauled to death my zombies, I wanted to help, I truley did, but I knew if I got involved, I'd be dead also.

Wincing at the horror of the survivors intestines being used as dental floss I made my way back down the large, stone stairs of the tower and headed North-West again.

-- A few hours later I arrived at what seemed to be a ghost town, I could see a sign in the distance but I couldn't understand it's language, was this...russian? "Vyshnoye" the sign wrote, "i must be getting near this airfield" i thought to myself..how big is this forest?

Avoiding town I decided to head west for 1 hour the north for 1 hour to balance it out (well that seemed to make sense to me at the time) - arriving at Pulkovo town I lay in the fields, checking my surroundings, no zombies, no players... something wasn't right, There were no animals, no birds nothing here… I couldn’t afford to stay here for long but this would have to make do for camp for the night, I lay inside what appeared to be a large tree, hid my back pack and food and made camp for the night.

Yeah i also thought about writing something like this although if i keep dying by glitching through a wall or something then it wouldn't really end properly.
