Recommended Posts

Good morning, ps4 slim console game, and my game after the update is showing blue screen in some actions of the game, I would like to know if it is problem in dayz or my console. I await return, thanks.

This is a problem others have reported after the update. As for whether it's a recognized one in the developers eyes, I have no idea.

I would suggest reporting to them via the feedback /"Report a.bug' link. I would just make sure you include as much information as you can.

There are some that can hardly join a session for very long without crashing. Either way, I hope they address this for you.

I don’t get the blue screen but keeps crashing and when I attack walkers they take no damage and wake up on the sandy beach, also not see’ing dropped items off players on the floor again!! Please help us BI as we love this game but it’s got worse(playability wise)

What ya mean with that you don't get bluescreens but you keep crashing? Is the game freezing up?

The thing with "not see’ing dropped items off players on the floor" is a problem since console release and it seems like that the devs are too lazy or incompetend to fix this issue...

For thoses crashing, what kind of drive do you have? HDD, SSD?

PS4-Pro with 1TB Samsung 860 Evo SSD.

It’s only happened since update the crashing, I have 1tb aftermarket hard drive but hasn’t been a problem before. How long have you had day z and when did the screen start going blue?

Pro HDD here, no blue screen, at last no more than before (but not once since update).

My friend just got a SSD (think same model as you) and made 1.05 update after, and he's crashing a lot (he had same amount as me before).

Don't know if it is linked, but maybe a way to follow.

Played a couple hours today without crashing/bluescreening. Had a bit pvp and lot of pve against zeds. Maybe I was just lucky today or the PS4 firmware update 7.00 (inclusive Database rebuild) has something to do with it...

I dont think it's linked to my SSD. Never had any problems with any other games, only advantages with my SSD. 😉

I've got the exact same SSD as Joe although I'm running on an original PS4.  Also, I haven't had any of those crashes since the latest update.  I think I had two random blue-screens but that was from before.  The only new types of related issues I'm having are the freezes while loading but after shutting down the game and logging back on, the issue didn't reoccur in the same session in both instances.  This only happened twice since the update.

Either way, these are "BSODs" people have been experiencing since the new update so 1.05 broke something.  It also seems to be pretty widespread given what I've seen on social media.

Crashes and blue screen before update Plenty. Since update none...... 5 hours today and no problems. Time will tell I suppose.

Forgot to mention that I've redownloaded the game a few days ago, but I'm not sure if that also helped with those bluescreens. Anyway I'm still far away from beeing happy with the state of the game as almost every old game breaking bug is still there!

I didn't imply that was SSD fault but maybe a BI gift with 1.05, don't know how but with them, everything's possible 🤣

Good to hear it's back to normal.

Today I've encountered some Bluescreens. A few guys were crashing in front of me and I was fine but at the end someone picked up gloves from the vicinity and everyone bluescreened at the same time.

The next crash happend when a car was driving right next to a group of players (sound gone > than bluescreen). Shortly after everyone had a bluescreen again.
