SLI

Recommended Posts

Is this game SLI compatible? I have two 580s and if I enable SLI the screen shakes and goes crazy. Even in the server menu.

Yes, Arma supports SLI. You don't need to adjust anything in Nvidia control panel for the Arma Profile. Nvidia Recommended settings works best.

It won't improve your fps anyway by enabling it, OA engine is a cpu hungry beast.

In DayZ your CPU is doing bugger all and SLI makes a big difference to Arma, especially in DayZ. DayZ happens to be one of the least CPU intensive Arma missions you can play. If you where to play Warfare, or Domination, or a mission with a view distance over 2k and masses of vehicles and AI, then you would see less advantage from SLI as your CPU would be the bottle neck. But for DayZ? SLI allows you to turn things like Postprocess and Object detail, Shadows etc to their highest settings.

I'm running: gtx295 and q9650
