I've found a few of them.  They do change locations however, about every 30 mins and you can only see 3 at a times on any server.   I unfortunately haven't been able to find anything good at any of them i think due to the overabundance of weaponry on servers, either directly or indirectly, due to duping issues.

There is 100s if not more places they can spawn, most on the west, a few in middle of the map, so chances of coming across one is small.

jump in ur private server or on ur home server met up and I’ll run u round the route i go and I’d lay money on it I’ll find u one within a few hours!!

Finally saw a heli crash. Didn't expect it. Was north of kozlovka. Found a Vsd a night vision scope tactical bag and a few gun parts. Also for the first time in the way back I found a battery charger in a shed. Must be something new. Oh and night vision scope doesn't work lol
