Multiple characters?

Yesterday my friend and I were playing on DE100 server. We managed to get a camp set up and found a vehicle.

Today, I decided to continue from where we left off.

First issue was that I couldn't find the server DE100, but I did find DE 100. I'm pretty sure it was DE100 where we were yesterday since that was still as my filter on the server list.

Anyways, I decided to log on to DE 100. When I entered, I was standing on the beach near Elektro with starting gear. At first I thought my character was destroyed due to some bug, but when I entered another server, I was still where I left off yesterday with all my gear (the camp of course was gone). So I logged to DE 100 again and was once again on the beach near Elektro with starting gear.

What's going on here?
