Missing buried crate

I had three crafted wooden crates buried close to each other in the woods.  One went missing with containing all weapon attachments I had collected.  The same time about half hour before losing crate I lost a hunting rifle.

Server kicked me, I believe that is what led to my missing items.

One of two things happened.

The server went back in time before you buried them and they are technically not existent. Or someone saw you bury them and snatched them up.
