[MAP]Grid/Coordinates outlined Chernarus map

i couldnt find a grid map anywhere so i could give my coor's so I have made a grid outline map to help coordinate places in game etc hook up with friends w.e it be

perhaps if we get bunch of people using the same grid map we can help each other out a lot more and make it even more awesome!

for instance if you have broken leg and need morphine saying that u need help in bottom corner c 14 then people can help locate you

Defeating some point to the mod, and finding a map in-game? Boo. But, if you know Chernarus you probably don't need one anyway. Unless you're trying to point out the exact coords to a partner that doesn't know.

Wow, I did the same thing when I started playing... or after a week of playing and couldn't find a map. It was hard to find each other, so I got fed up (the game was less fun). I couldn't find a nice map map with grids online so I made this:

After I updated it, I searched online and found this thread. Neat map you guys have, but I mainly made this because of the list of city names. Finding a sign in the game was good, but finding it on the map isn't as easy.

I did not make it to cheat... but to make the game a bit more enjoyable when you are trying to meet up with mates. Please read the notes on the bottom right corner of the map.

Yeah they can be hard to remember though when you're navigating. Six numbers versus a very conventional (for simple map readers, not military or geographers) one letter and one number.

I know, but once you learn the milgrid system, you will never come back (not literarily :)). If it's too much numbers just use four or two. The less numbers the less precision, the more numbers the more precision. The arbitrary precision is it's major advantage, you can write down a location down to 10 meters in game

Nice work. Can they add firestations icons and mark vehicles spawn points (click on icon and u will see which vehicles can be spawn in this area)?

Map for SASPlanet ( http://sasgis.ru/2011/04/18/versiya-110418/#more-1516 ) Binding did not, but you can download the map pieces and use as you wish. Tags can also be set and transmit their coordinates or something like that.

- Download SASPlanet;

- Put into the Maps folder SASPlanet (where this folder is already there, just add my map);

- Select a map, DayZ.

p.s. I repeat, this is a sketch done for myself and decided to share, can be helpful.

Map is downloaded to the cache and you can use the it instead of download every time !

All loot spawning buildings are now on map. Items from latest patch are in loot lists.

I'm investingating things regarding vehicles, stay tuned.
