i've had cars, and everytime I hid them within the game zone, and used them until somoene found them.

Hording will forever happen aslong as people are greedy and want stuff for them self. i dont think hording is a bad thing. if you gonna use vehicles

The worse part is the people driving em so far off the map. just to get them away from the game cos they think no one should be able to use vehicles at all

I just explained to you how my group used our vehicles when we found them, mate. Maybe you should read all of the posts instead of whacking it to the pictures of off-map stashes.

All our stuff is inside the map aswell and used for raiding NW airfield and Stary for items.

How would I use a car if I was going offline? I would park it inside the map in some nice spots with three or four trees, like we have been doing the whole time. None of our cars have been immediately found.

the offmap parts are part of the game wether you like it or not. This is completely fair. If you can find them you can take them. As long as the "offmap" is part of the map, it will be utilized as such

yep, same way there is murder as long as theres weapons. Its up to the individual to make his choice. its apparent in this game very much. alt+f4, off map vehicle horders, server hopper/farmers, script kiddies.

however rocket already stated that this is not intended and will be fixed. enjoy the exploit while it lasts.

also, 3 guys with ghilies and dmrs. my item duping radar is beeping madly.

if nothing, this thread will at least shed light on some asswipes out there. keep it up exploiters :)

the more of your crap you post publicly, the sooner it gets fixed.

item duping hasnt been around since 1.7.1

with enough time and work, finding three DMRs and ghillie suits is entirely possible, just as is finding and fixing up 8 vehicles. Its not duping, just teamwork between 10 guys and alot of fucking gametime

IMO, until we can create true squads and bases of operations using materials we find around the map, there will always be off-map hoarding. I prefer if we could use one of those hangars at the airbases and then materials like wire fences, maybe a gasoline to power a generator so we can make electrical fences, wood to create more fences, gates, and guard towers, etcetc (you get the point).

this is our form of a base until that comes around. Then obviously, most people will set up settlements and have a proper base. If you can protect your items with a base, then there is no need for offmap.

All items off map should be removed daily to stop this problem. Because aerver admins like to hide all the good cars off maps like kids. I.e. dallas 4.

This would make hiding your camps hard and not about how far you can drive.

The off map places are not intended to be there to be used for people to hoard. Yea get a camp going, work on those cars, but dont go outside of the map. I dont dare to say its an exploit, but its in moralistic. I think the game would get better if the off map flatlands get barred off. I want those cars going all around chernarus, like they are therefor in the first place.

Finally a fan :) While I do agree that off map is not fair to others, from my

experience no matter where you put your camp or how well you hide it somebody will always find it. That being said the size of my group and the amount of vehicles we have off map is the only option BTW this camp is literally 100m off map for those complaining. Until certain options are implemented to fully secure vehicles and camps I feel that off map is perfectly fine. The camp I show is a combination of over 200 hours of work by 30+ and if this camp was hidden on map ONE person with enough ammo could destroy that hard work in literally mins so that being said I feel off map is fine. Also Chernarus is a small place believe it or not nothing is hidden forever

DevilDog, I too am a fan of your videos, but I just find it extremeley annoying people feel the need to hide things off map. Chernarus is FAR from being small, I would say 225/225 square Km is pretty damn big, and thats a HUGE understatement. The land is loaded with infinite possibliites of where to set up camps and stash vehicles. And even if you lose you stuff, so what? Its part of the game, you cant live forever, unless you exploit. One of this biggest rules in DayZ, "NEVER get attacthed to your gear, you will eventually lose it. It is inevitable."
