[SOLVED] Initial setup; efficient workflow with Workbench

Recommended Posts

I've encountered various setups for creating scripted mods. I decided to try a setup using filePatching.
However, it seems to be a useless feature, unless there exists a "reload mods" command for client/server.
Since you have to either restart the client or server to apply your changes (it patches the PBOs files only on startup apparently).

This wiki post describes how to setup filePatching, however it mentions having to re-package the PBOs whenever a file is added/removed.
All the more reason, to create a batch file and or Workbench plugin, to shut down instances of DayZDiag_x64.exe and re-package the modules you're working on.

If there exists a better setup or you can confirm this is the most efficient workflow, then please leave a reply.
