Dayz Wont launch

I came back to dayz after quite a while and it wont launch i re installed it like 4 times because it says too yet nothing has happened.

Anyone know how to fix it

Is dayz running in the background (you can know it with the task manager) ?

Nope and the only thing that runs in the backround is battleye launcher but it goes away right after it starts.

Let's ask the basics then...

Did you tryed to launch dayz as administrator or in 64 bits ?

Even if I guess it's a big yes, do you have other games working on your computer ?

Is the computer old ?

It doesnt work with either launch it now says

Dayz_x64.exe - System Error

The program cant start because api-ms-win-crt-string-|1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer try reinstalling the program to fix the problem.  Even tho i reinstalled so many times

Well now we need to find from what software you have this dll 🙂

This link is a package installer from microsoft but if you want to download only the missing dll be really carefull where you download it.

I cant download the one i need  because it is through windows updates
